Hope Harbor Family Care Home is a private, family-owned and operated assisted living home. We provide 24-hour personal care, supervision, meals, and daily support in a warm home-like setting where every resident feels like family and every family feels at peace.

Are you licensed by the state of North Carolina?
Yes. Hope Harbor Family Care Home is licensed by the North Carolina Department of Human and Health Services (DHSR) as a Family Care Home. We meet all state requirements for staffing, safety and resident care.

How many residents do you serve?
We’re a small, six-bed home, which allows us to focus on personalized attention and build meaningful connections with every resident. This smaller setting feels less like an institution and more like family living together.

What services are included in your monthly rate?
Out rates include 24-hour supervision, housekeeping, laundry, personal care assistance, daily activities, and transportation. We tailor care levels to meet each resident’s needs, from light assistance to full support.

Absolutely! Families are encouraged to visit, share meals, and take part in celebrations. We host family events, holiday gatherings, and community activities to keep our residents and their loved ones connected and engaged.
